We recommend you send a letter to parents letting them know that you will be using ParentMail to communicate with them from now on. We have provided a range of letter templates which you may find useful:

When you are ready to go live, you will need to send registration messages to parents and staff to enable them to register on ParentMail. The message includes a registration link and is sent by email or SMS. This means that you don’t need to have both an email addresses and mobile numbers for parents:
- If a parent only has an email address recorded in ParentMail, their registration message will be sent by email.
- If a parent only has a mobile phone number recorded in ParentMail, their registration message will be sent by SMS.
- If a parent has both an email address and a mobile phone number, their registration message will be sent by email and SMS.
