If you are a school that uses: SIMS, Integris, ScholarPack or Progresso then you are able to set up an MIS Link between your Management Information System (MIS) and ParentMail. This will ensure that updates made to your MIS will automatically be transferred to ParentMail overnight (depending on your settings).
Please note the following:
- The link only works one way, i.e. any changes made in ParentMail are not automatically copied across to your MIS. You therefore need to regularly check any changes made in ParentMail to see if any of the changes also need to be made in your MIS. This can be achieved by running the Verified User Changes Report. We now show this report under 'Your Alerts' on the Overview page in the left-hand menu bar of ParentMail.
- The MIS Link will not update contact information (email address and mobile numbers) for Connected users as they will have confirmed these details at the time of registration. Changes to contact information (email address and mobile numbers) must be made manually by the school (pending user approval within 7 days of when the change was made or the details will revert back) or by the user themselves within the app or online portal.
